4 Women Losin’ it with Weight Watchers

Fatness…not with a ph

So, I’ve decided that I am tired of being fat and it’s time to do something about it. I’ve gotten tired of being fat before and I’ve said it’s time to do something about it before and yet nothing happens. I usually give up after a few weeks and it’s always because I’m not seeing results. It’s also because I love food so much, it’s so fantastic. This is really hard because I used to be thin and in shape – so in shape that I wore a tiny cheerleading uniform on Saturdays with no shame. I have no hopes of getting back there – I’m way too old; but I’d like to get these pounds off so that I can feel better about myself. My main problems as I see them are:

  • Out of control portions
  • Laziness/Tiredness
  • Eating out (I have to for work; and I also eat out when I’m too tired to cook after work)
  • Emotional eating
  • Eating when bored (and I’m bored a lot)

I need to lose weight; at least 100 pounds. I’m smart (sometimes) and I have to get this under control. So, now I’m going to do this Weight Watchers thing (again) and you chicks better help me keep in line. If not, I may have a heart attack. I also need to get in fighting shape so I can more easily get into some kind of kept woman situation – working is for the birds.

I’m in it with you! Ditto to all of the above.

I’ve lost 6 pounds in 16 weeks. Not ground breaking but better than gaining. I’m doing Weight Watchers online and training to walk a half marathon.

Here is a website that has all the restaurants broken down into points. It try to copy the page for the restaurant I’m going to and enjoy something with fewer points. Slow, slow, slow.

You can do it! You can do anything that you maintain the motivation and passion to do. For real!

I’m there with you. I love food and I also eat when I’m bored. I did lose some weight when I was working out with my trainer but I didn’t watch what I ate. I think if I can add working out with healthier eating I’ll be more sucessful.

We can do this! We are strong, smart women who can accomplish most anything we put our minds to. This challenge should be no different.

Thanks T for the restaurant breakdown website. That will definately come in handy.

When I get home from a long day at work or even just a regular day at work, it is often almost too much to cook a meal. It is hard because I don’t want to teach K that it is okay to eat out of the freeze or to eat out every night. But dang if I’m not exhusted. I have been trying to plan ahead better to keep track what we have in the house and what we have to do that night.
